1. About RASACANVAS

What is RASACANVAS Art Gallery?

RASACANVAS is a curated online art gallery focused on original paintings and sculptures. We work with artists and curators to present authentic, well-documented artworks to collectors in India and select international markets.

We are not an open marketplace. Every artist and artwork is reviewed before listing.

What kind of artworks do you accept?

We currently accept:

  • Original paintings
  • Original sculptures

All submissions are subject to curatorial review. Decorative art, prints, reproductions, or mass-produced works are not accepted.

Who can collaborate with RASACANVAS?

We welcome:

  • Independent artists
  • Emerging and established artists
  • Curators representing artists

Artists or representatives must have full legal rights to sell the artwork. Collaborations are confirmed only after mutual agreement via email.

2. Joining & Submitting Artwork

How do I submit my artworks?

Please email the following to artists@rasacanvasarts.com

  • Clear images of the artwork
  • Artwork details (title, size, medium, price)
  • A short artist bio

Our team will review the submission and respond if it aligns with our curation.

Can I list artworks that are shown with other galleries?

Yes. Listings with RASACANVAS are non-exclusive unless agreed otherwise.

However, if an artwork listed with us is sold elsewhere, you must inform us immediately so it can be removed from our website.

How are artist agreements handled?

All collaboration terms — including pricing, commission, responsibilities, packaging, and payment timelines — are shared and confirmed via email.

Artists must explicitly confirm agreement before artworks are listed or sold.

What is the commission structure for artists?

Commission is discussed and agreed individually before listing.

The commission covers:

  • Gallery curation
  • Marketing and visibility
  • Sales handling

All commission terms are confirmed in writing via email.

3. Artwork Listing & Visibility

How are artworks uploaded?

Once approved, our team uploads the artworks along with descriptions and pricing. Artists are notified once the works go live.

Why isn’t my artwork visible yet?

Uploads may take time due to:

  • Image quality issues
  • Missing information

We will contact you if clarification is needed.

How does RASACANVAS promote artworks?

We promote artworks through:

  • Curated website presentation
  • Social media features
  • Direct collector inquiries
  • Internal recommendations for suitable buyers

While we cannot guarantee sales, we ensure artworks are presented professionally and responsibly.
