At RASACANVAS Art Gallery, every artwork is unique and treated as such. Due to variations in size, medium, packaging requirements, and destination, shipping costs are calculated individually for each order. We prioritize careful handling, secure packaging, and transparent communication throughout the shipping process.

1. Shipping Coverage

We currently ship artworks:

  • Across India
  • Internationally to select destinations

International shipping availability depends on the artwork’s size, medium, fragility, and export eligibility.

2. Order Confirmation & Shipping Charges

  • All artworks can be purchased directly through our website.
  • Shipping charges are not included in the artwork price and are not calculated at checkout.
  • After an order is placed, our team will:
    • Assess packaging and logistics requirements
    • Calculate actual shipping costs
    • Contact the customer with the final shipping quotation
  • Shipping charges must be paid separately and in full before dispatch.
  • Dispatch is initiated only after confirmation and receipt of shipping payment.

This process applies to both domestic and international orders.

3. Estimated Delivery Timelines

Within India

  • Orders are typically delivered within 7–10 business days from shipping confirmation.
  • Timelines may vary based on:
    • Artwork format
    • Packaging complexity
    • Delivery location

International Orders

  • International deliveries generally take 15–20 business days from shipping confirmation.
  • Delivery timelines are subject to:
    • Destination country
    • Courier transit schedules
    • Customs clearance procedures

Customs processing times are beyond our control and may occasionally cause delays.

4. Shipping Charges, Duties & Taxes

Domestic (India)

  • Shipping costs are calculated after order placement
  • Applicable taxes on the artwork are displayed during checkout
  • Shipping charges are payable separately before dispatch

International Orders

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on:
    • Destination country
    • Dimensions and weight
    • Packaging requirements
  • All customs duties, import taxes, and clearance charges (if applicable) are borne entirely by the customer
  • These charges vary by country and are payable directly to the courier or customs authority

5. Packaging Standards

Each artwork is packed based on its medium and structural requirements to ensure maximum protection during transit.

Canvas Paintings (Rolled)

  • Most canvas artworks are shipped in rolled format
  • Carefully bubble-wrapped and placed in sturdy protective tubes
  • This method minimizes transit risk and reduces shipping costs

Framed, Mixed Media & Sculptural Works

Artworks that cannot be rolled — including:

  • Framed paintings
  • Mixed media works
  • Board-mounted or circular artworks
  • Sculptures

are packed using multi-layer protective materials and, where required, custom wooden crates or reinforced boxes.
Additional packaging costs, if applicable, are communicated before dispatch.

6. International Packaging & Framing Advisory

For international shipments:

  • Artworks are generally shipped unframed, where feasible
  • Framing significantly increases shipping costs and customs exposure
  • Customers may choose to frame artworks locally upon delivery

7. Courier Partners

We work with trusted and reputed logistics partners.
Courier selection depends on destination, artwork specifications, and shipment size.

Tracking details are shared once the artwork is dispatched.

8. Delays & Exceptional Circumstances

While we aim to meet estimated timelines, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including:

  • Customs inspections
  • Weather conditions
  • Remote delivery locations
  • Regulatory or logistical restrictions

RASACANVAS Art Gallery is not liable for delays caused by such external factors.

9. Damaged or Lost Shipments

In the rare event that an artwork:

  • Arrives damaged, or
  • Is lost during transit
