Panchu Gharami is a Kolkata-based freelance artist, born in 1990 in Nadia, West Bengal, and an alumnus of the Government College of Art & Craft, Calcutta. His work is deeply rooted in the spiritual and physical beauty of rural Bengal, harmonizing Indian idealism with semi-realistic techniques of texture, light, and shadow. Heavily influenced by Baul traditions, Vaishnavism, and ancient heritage, his canvases frequently explore themes of divinity, nature, and the human form. Gharami’s art bridges the gap between traditional aesthetics and the complexities of modern social life, seeking a balance that invites future judgment through the eyes of the spectator.
